• Mail a letter soliciting nominations prior to every Board of Directors election
  • Prepare the Annual Meeting / Election Meeting notice and mail it to all homeowners
  • Prepare & distribute election materials – ballots, return envelopes, etc – in compliance with Civil Code §5115
  • Collect ballots and coordinate the effort to establish a quorum (goal: to hold a legitimate election on the first attempt)
  • Attend the Annual Meeting / Election Meeting
  • Assist the president in preparing the ‘state of the association' message prior to the Annual Meeting and, if s/he prefers, deliver it
  • Store physical ballots for a year after the election as required by law
